At Align Performance, our mission is to guide individuals of all ages and activity levels in restoring postural alignment and muscular balance, developing confident and efficient movement, and performing without pain while reducing the risk of injury - so they can thrive in both sport and everyday life.
We specialize in the assessment of postural asymmetries and compensatory movement patterns to uncover the root cause of dysfunction. Our approach prioritizes spine health, optimal respiration, and joint mobility as foundational elements of performance and well-being. Meet the Founder
Founder, Owner, Certified Strength and Conditioning SpecialistDana Johnson is the owner and founder of Align Performance, bringing together clinical expertise and performance-based training to help individuals move and perform better. Dana holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Sports Science, is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), allowing her to offer a comprehensive, movement-focused approach to care and training.
Dana specializes in improving movement quality by addressing postural alignment, functional strength, and efficient movement patterns that translate both to daily life and sport. She works with individuals of all ages and abilities - from those managing pain or recovering from injury, to athletes seeking improved performance, durability, and longevity.
Outside of Align Performance, Dana is a wife and mom of two boys who enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors with her family. As a triathlete and two-time Ironman finisher, Dana brings firsthand experience in training, recovery, and long-term athletic development - experience that strongly shapes the way she coaches and cares for her clients.
